Hey there everyone! I suppose that most of you know that I'm planning on leaving for Bluewater in March (123 days from now...wow, that's actually kinda neat...123 days..hmm). Bluewater is a Discipleship Training School run by YWAM. YWAM has many DTS' but the special thing about Bluewater is that its school is on a sailing ship (110 ft gaff rigged ketch)! Its a six month program which means I'll be gone for a while--from the 19th of March to the 17th of September! The general plan is to sail around the Mediterranean Sea from port to port. At each stop we well have bible teachers give us lectures and classes. So yeah, I'm really stoked here!! I can't wait to get traveling, to learn a ton about God and faith, to learn to sail, meet new people, and have some amazingly epic adventures!
So that is why I have decided to try to keep this blog. You guys are so important in my life, and Internet access is probably going to be scarce. This way hopefully I can still stay connected with you guys. Although I may not have time to e-mail you all personally, which I would like to have been able to do, I would still love to receive e-mails from you all!!!
I guess you're wondering why I just randomly started this blog so far from when I leave. Well, I guess I'm just really excited about leaving! haha Also I wanna figure this blogging stuff out before I leave on my trip. That way it will be so much easier when I'm traveling. I've got the general idea of how to do this stuff, but still really new to this whole blogging thing. Also I have started today because I have just been accepted!!! So yeah, I'm pretty stoked about that.
